What's included when booking a Group Desert Safari Dubai?

A Group Desert Safari Dubai includes transport to and from the desert, a period of dune bashing, and an evening at a private camp with seating arranged specifically for your group. It also includes a traditional Arabic welcome, a buffet dinner, live entertainment, and access to activities such as camel riding, sandboarding, and henna painting, with the exact inclusions depending on your selected package.

What packages are available for a Group Desert Safari Dubai?

We offer four package options suited to group bookings. The Standard Camp, from AED 79,999, includes dune bashing at Al Aveer Desert with standard group seating and a live BBQ buffet dinner. The Quality Camp, from AED 99,999, offers a more refined desert experience with red dune adventures, and the DTT Premium package, from AED 89,999, gives your group access to private premium seating. Our Premium Camp, from AED 179,999, is our most complete option, including dune bashing and sandboarding at the Lahbab Red Dunes, falcon photography, camel riding, henna painting, and a sheesha lounge.

Which desert is used for a Group Desert Safari Dubai?

Groups can choose between Al Aveer Desert, about 30 minutes from the city with smaller dunes, or the Lahbab Desert, Dubai's largest desert with dramatic red dunes located roughly 60 minutes away. Larger groups and higher tier packages generally head to Lahbab, since the scale of the dunes and camp area suits bigger gatherings more comfortably.

How long does the dune bashing portion last for a group?

Dune bashing at Lahbab Desert typically runs for 30 to 45 minutes, followed by a 10 to 15 minute photo stop at a high dune, where our guides take photos of your group against the desert backdrop. Vehicles are prepared with adjusted tire pressure before the activity and again afterward, ahead of the drive to camp.

What transport options work best for larger groups?

For a Group Desert Safari Dubai, you can choose between private SUVs, which seat six to seven guests each, or a coach, which accommodates up to 46 guests in a single transfer. Many larger groups combine a coach for the main transfer with additional SUVs to handle the final stretch into the desert camp.

How many guests can a single Group Desert Safari Dubai accommodate?

Our group packages are flexible enough to handle anywhere from a small gathering of six or seven guests using a single SUV, up to large groups of 50 or more using a coach and SUV combination. The camp seating and dining setup are adjusted to match your group size.

What seating arrangement do groups get at the camp?

Depending on your package, your group can be seated on a standard arrangement or at a private premium setup with tables and chairs. This gives you the flexibility to choose between a more casual shared camp feel or a private, group-only setting depending on the occasion.

What dining choices are available for group bookings?

We offer a Standard dining option with an international buffet and vegetarian choices, a Premium option with live BBQ stations and Arabic specialties, and a 5-Star option with chef-attended stations serving premium meats and seafood. One menu is generally selected per group, based on preference and budget.

Is a Group Desert Safari Dubai suitable for family reunions or friend groups?

Yes, this experience works well for family reunions, friend groups, school or college outings, and any occasion where a larger number of people want to experience the desert together. The camp setup and activities are designed to comfortably accommodate a wide range of ages and group dynamics.

Can we book a private ceremony or special occasion as a group?

Yes, we can arrange private desert ceremonies, including proposals or small celebrations, with the appropriate permits handled where required. It's best to mention any special occasion when booking so our team can plan accordingly.

What happens after dune bashing during a group tour?

Once dune bashing finishes, the group returns to the starting point where tire pressure is restored, followed by a further drive of approximately 20 to 25 minutes to reach the desert camp. From there, your group is welcomed into the evening's dining and entertainment.

What does the arrival welcome look like for a group?

Groups are welcomed at camp with a traditional Arabic greeting that includes coffee, sweets, and dates, served by our team as guests settle in. It's a relaxed way to bring everyone together before the main activities and dinner begin.

Are camel riding and falcon photography included for groups?

Yes, a short camel ride at a designated area and a falcon photo opportunity are included as part of the group experience. These tend to be popular activities for larger groups looking for shared photo moments during the visit.

Can our group add quad bikes or dune buggies?

Yes, quad bikes and dune buggies are available as optional add ons, with single, double, and four seater options to suit different group sizes and preferences. Since availability is limited, we recommend booking these in advance, particularly for larger groups.

Is henna painting and traditional dress photography included for groups?

Yes, henna painting and a photo opportunity in traditional Arabic attire are included in the standard camp experience. Both tend to be popular with groups looking for a shared cultural activity to enjoy together.

What food and drinks are provided during the group safari?

Depending on your dining selection, your group will be served a buffet with vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, evening snacks such as shawarma, falafel, and samosa, and a live BBQ dinner with self-service options. Soft drinks, water, tea, and coffee are available throughout the visit.

What entertainment is included for group bookings?

Groups are treated to three live performances as standard: a belly dance show, a Tanoura performance, and a fire show, all performed by licensed artists. Larger groups wanting an extended or custom entertainment lineup can arrange this with our team in advance.

Do all guests in the group need to take part in dune bashing?

No, dune bashing is optional, and any guests who'd rather not participate can wait comfortably in an air-conditioned rest area while the rest of the group continues. This has no effect on the group's overall package price.

Is a Group Desert Safari Dubai suitable for guests who are pregnant or traveling with young children?

Dune bashing itself isn't recommended for pregnant guests or very young children due to the fast, bumpy nature of the ride. They are welcome to relax in our designated waiting area while the rest of the group takes part, and all camp activities and dining remain fully available to them.

Can a group skip dune bashing entirely and go straight to camp?

Yes, if your group has booked a private vehicle, we can drive you directly to the camp and skip dune bashing altogether. This is a useful option for groups where some or all guests would prefer to avoid the activity.

How is payment handled for group bookings?

A 50 percent advance payment is required to confirm a group reservation, with a secure payment link sent by our team once your booking is finalized. Only bookings with the advance payment completed are treated as confirmed reservations.

What is the cancellation policy for a Group Desert Safari Dubai?

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the tour receive a full refund, while those made between 24 and 48 hours before receive a 50 percent refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are not eligible for any refund.

Can we request a professional photographer for our group?
